For Immediate Release

Summary:  February 10th, 2016 Projection

The analysis is in three sections:  (a) Decided, (b) Winner Take All, and (c) Proportional Primaries or Caucuses.   Within the Decided total you will find delegates won state by state.   The next two sections are forecasts and projections.   Combine all three together, and you have a "best estimate" or snapshot of the number of delegates for these five candidates as of right now today.  The nominee of the Republican party requires 1236 votes for his or her nomination.

Obviously as primaries and caucuses actually occur and more poling occurs, the projected results on this site will change.   This site is not static, but rather dynamic so you can stay on top of the Republican nomination this year simply by visiting this website during the course of this election.

Remember then, this is a picture of the Republican race right now today.   The full results will not actually be available until all the states have had their primaries.   But if voting follows polling and nothing radically happens to change the outcome, what you are seeing here today likely will reflect the Republican National convention results in July 2016.

Decided:  As states have their primaries and caucuses, the delegates awarded to the candidates will be posted here.  If a candidate drops out, any delegates awarded to that candidate will be added to Uncommitted column.  Amendments if any to posted results will be published immediately.

This weeks New Hampshire results essentially conformed to published polling models.
